The PsychGen Centre is an interdisciplinary research centre for knowledge about how mental health develops and progresses throughout life, and is a collaboration between Lovisenberg Hospital and the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH).

The PsychGen Centre is a interdisciplinary research centre for knowledge about how mental health develops and progresses throughout life, operated in collaboration with Lovisenberg Diaconal Hospital & the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. From Lovisenberg it is led by Alexandra Havdahl and Laurie Hannigan. Within the group, we emphasise transparent and reproducible research practices, user engagement, and prioritise work that triangulates evidence from different sources and methodologies in order to make robust and meaningful contributions to both the research literature and – ultimately – patients, their families, and society at large.
